InvestiNatures Club – Stage 1 Pilot

The InvestiNatures after-school club, (stage 1 pilot) is a simple idea: children, supported by parents or carers, heading out to explore their local streets and green spaces with curiosity and care.  The name itself came from a six-year-old at a local school – reminding us that this movement belongs to children from the very start.

It’s not formal. It’s not complicated. It’s a bit like a shared playdate with purpose.

Children lead the way – choosing where to walk, what to notice and what questions to ask. Over time, these walks become something more: a regular rhythm of connection, play and discovery.  A way to imagine what could be.  A way to care for the street together. Tools to help inform and guide sessions will follow on.

Each club might look a little different. Some meet weekly, others less often. Some stay close to school, others roam further. What they share is a spirit of exploration, a light-touch structure, and a belief that change starts with a child’s eye and an open question.
